For this year Scott and I decided to spend Christmas for the
first time in Utah. We celebrated Christmas 2010 and 2011 in AZ. Now it was
time to spend Christmas somewhere else, with family. We drove to Utah on Friday December 21st and we
stopped in Las Vegas that night. We decided to stay in a hotel to rest for that
night and continue our trip to UT the next day. We made it to UT on Saturday
December 22nd in the
afternoon. We met Scott’s parents and his sister Krystal and her husband Jake in
SLC. We ate dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. Dinner was really good. We all
were really amazed with Scott’s dinner. He ordered a “Santa Fe Salad” . It was
really good and the dish was huge. On Sunday December 23rd we went
to church with Scott’s parents. We ate dinner with all of Scott’s family. We
also visited Scott’s grandmas. We enjoyed watching a video about Grandma Rogers
life that Scott’s cousin made for Grandma’s ninetieth birthday. On Monday the 24th my mother in law
made a delicious dinner and we met together to eat dinner at her house. It was
the last dinner that we had with Grandma Rogers before she passed away. There was snow, but not as much as I wanted. On
the day of the 24th we opened some Christmas gifts that Scott’s
parents had for us. We got everything that we wanted. Thank you so much Barbara
and Craig. It was the best Christmas ever.
